Staff

Currently, due to budget issues, there are no staff at NEWS. Former NEWS Executive Director Ben Boyce resigned in October, 2009. Here is his statement to the members of the Living Wage Coalition:

" I want to thank all of you who have supported me and the work of the Living Wage Coalition over the last five years. It has been an honor and a pleasure working with our many good allies and we can all take a measure of satisfaction in the numerous policy victories that we have won for working people during this tenure. The impact of the Great Recession of 2007-2008 has severely curtailed grant funding, so I have reluctantly had to move on in search of  other prospects in my field of public policy reform. I will continue to support the work of the Living Wage Coalition through volunteer appearances at city councils and boards of supervisors, as needed by the issue at hand."
